REFLECTION

This semester has been a journey of growth, filled with challenges and victories that have significantly shaped my understanding of design and storytelling. Through various projects and assignments, I’ve not only honed my technical skills but also deepened my appreciation for the creative process, as well as the importance of preparation, research, and critical thinking.

One of the most important lessons I learned this semester is the necessity of thoroughly understanding instructions before starting any project. My experiences throughout the term underscored the value of preparation and intention in creative work. From refining my Adobe Illustrator skills to mastering the principles of light, shadow, and color, I have grown as a designer. These technical advancements were matched by an enhanced ability to integrate storytelling into my designs, making them more compelling and meaningful.

From the Vormator Challenge to the final Webcomic Project, every task was both engaging and challenging. This reflection highlights the importance of embracing challenges, conducting thorough research, and viewing limitations as opportunities for growth.

As I look ahead to future projects, I feel more confident in my ability to combine artistic techniques with storytelling to create visually captivating and impactful designs.
