REFLECTION

PROJECT 2A:

When learning the double exposure effect, I deeply realized the importance of layer management and blending modes. At first, I was unsure about how to match the different elements, but through continuous experimentation with blending modes, opacity, and masks, I gradually understood how to make the elements blend more naturally. I also discovered that selecting the right images is key. For example, using high-contrast portraits with simple backgrounds works better. Additionally, this exercise made me more attentive to details, such as feathering mask edges to avoid harsh transitions.

PROJECT 2B:

In the early stages of creating the poster, I felt quite confused. However, after researching and searching for references, I was able to find inspiration.

In the poster, I collaged different elements together. This was my first time understanding the importance of layers and how each image can be adjusted and edited independently. During the collage process, I had to constantly adjust the position, size, and angle of the images to ensure their proportions were harmonious and visually natural. The photo filters helped shape the overall atmosphere of the composition.

The challenge I faced in this project was selecting the right images during the collage process. Some images had significant differences in lighting and tone, which made them appear "incompatible." To solve this issue, I learned how to use photo filters and adjust brightness to achieve a more unified effect.

Additionally, I often forgot to name my layers, which made it difficult to locate and manage them. Later, I realized the importance of proper layer management.
