LECTURE

Week 5 DOUBLE EXPOSURE & IMAGE BLENDING MODE

Double exposure photography refers to merging multiple images. It makes the image looks more complicated and creative. However, to get this effects, we do not need a double exposure camera.

Some Examples 1

There are some following methods to achieve the effects:
  • Using the Tilt-Shift Effect: it will transform your photos into soft works of art. We can blur on of photos instead of the entire images to create a more creative photograghy.
  • Create fake reflection: Creating a double-exposure.
  • Experiment with simple portraits and details textured: Combining something plain with something complicated.
  • Convert your results to black & white: Change the color of photography into black and white will strength the emotions.
  • Work with silhouette: it gives a fun and doable challenge.
  • Pick two random photo: It could create a story.
  • Make simple objects look fascinating: Try to make objects that generally in life looks like something else.
  • Using shadow: Take of someone's shadow and transform it into a story.
